Zumba now running after Line Dancing! See contact details below for more information. What is Line Dancing? A line dance is choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows without regard for the gender of the individuals, all facing the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time. Line dancers are not in physical contact with each other. There are 3 levels of line dancing:
Usually, line dancers dance in a line. With more experience, we can be more creative and have dancers facing each other or away from each other. Do not worry; we’ll come to that when the time is right to try it out.
Benefits of Line Dancing To me it is a good form of light exercise to music. You can choose to just do the simple dances or if you like a challenge, carry on to learn the more complicated dances. Line dancing helps in improving self confidence, good posture and co-ordination. More importantly, you can make a lot of friends and have good fellowship. We also give performances when requested.
